Supporting Marshall During COVID-19

MAEDA Statement on COVID-19

Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) is committed to keeping the community updated on cancelations, closures, and available options during this time of social distancing and prevention of COVID-19. We will continue to share as many local updates as possible on changes happening in Marshall.

At this time, MAEDA would like to encourage everyone to continue supporting local businesses as this will have a major impact on every one of us. Working together as a community is what will help us through this challenging time. Here are a few ways you can help:

–          Purchase gift cards for future use, family or friends
–          Order online and have items shipped directly to you or someone else
–          Pay over the phone and ask for curbside pickup
–          Ask about delivery options
–          Tip generously

Many businesses realize the situation and are working hard to modify their offerings in order to accommodate customers. If you are unsure of what options are available to you, call the place of business and ask. Most likely there is a plan in place to help you get what you need.

For information regarding COVID-19, here are a few recommended sites to follow:

Center for Disease Control, State of Michigan, Calhoun County Health Department

If you are able to volunteer or assist those in need, please call 211 to register.
