Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Expansion: Project 1: High service pump station
A High Service Pump Station (HSPS) will be constructed at the Marshall Facilities Site near Michigan Avenue and 15 Mile Road adjacent to Project #2, a 4.5-million-gallon (MG) Ground Storage Tank (GST).
The HSPS will house four (4) pumps each rated at 1,800 gallons per minute (gpm) with a total station capacity of 10.5 million gallons per day (MGD).
Municipal water supplied by the Battle Creek/Emmett Township Transmission Main (Project #4), the Marshall Transmission Main (Project #3), and the Verona Road Loop (Project #8) will fill the GST. The HSPS will pump water from the GST to supply the BlueOval facility and future customers in the MAJOR campus and Marshall Key Project Features Township.
