Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Expansion: Project 2: Ground storage tank
A circular concrete Ground Storage Tank (GST) will be constructed at the Marshall Facilities Site near Michigan Avenue and 15 Mile Road.
The GST will be located adjacent to Project #1, a High Service Pump Station (HSPS). The GST is 178 feet in diameter, 25-feet high, with a volume of 4.5 million-gallons (MG).
The GST receives municipal water supply from the Battle Creek/ Emmett Township Transmission Main (Project #4), the Marshall Transmission Main (Project #3), and the Verona Road Loop (Project #8). The HSPS constructed under Project #1 will pump water from the GST to supply the BlueOval facility and future customers in the MAJOR campus and Marshall Township.
