Coinciding with the United States’ 250th anniversary in 2026, America’s 250: Reflections on the American Experience invited Michigan artists to submit work exploring what America means to them - its ideals, contradictions, communities, and cultural landscapes - through visual storytelling. Twenty artists have been selected for inclusion in this juried exhibition.
Exhibited artists are Valerie Allen, Ivan Barron, Barb Bratherton, Jasmine Busick, Michael Dixon, Amy Elsesser, Leonardo Gomez, Larry Hart, Sam Helmbreck, Amanda Kendrick-Deemer, Morgan Lutz, Grace Marengo, Kathy Nelson, Angie Redmond, Jen Rice, John Slevin, Cindy Souders, Kat Whaley, John Walton, and Peter Williams.
Join us on Thursday, July 2 from 6 - 7:30 pm for an opening reception to meet the artists. Cash award winners will be announced during the event. Light bites and beverages will be provided.
