Schuler's Restaurant

Win Schuler

When he returned home from World War II, Win Schuler took over his father’s hotel, restaurant, and bowling alley. One night after the pin boys went on strike, Schuler said, “I think I want a restaurant that will seat 600 people!” and so dining tables replaced the bowling lanes. That idea may have seemed unwise in a town of only 5,000, but Schuler’s personality and promotional efforts succeeded and Schuler’s Restaurant and Pub is still a major tourist destination full of warm memories, delicious food, and superior service.
