GREEN DOTS HISTORIC HOMES TOUR Our most requested tour. On this 1.5-mile walk you will pass by historic homes and learn about the people who lived in them. If you add the Green Diamond streets, please add 1.5 miles for a total of 3 miles. To help you follow your route, green dots and diamonds have been painted on the sidewalks by the Marshall Rotary Club.

RED DOTS DOWNTOWN TOUR Stroll down Michigan Avenue and learn about past businesses, architects, and shop keepers. The main walk is 1.1-mile walks but please add 0.3 mile if you would like to explore the Red Diamond portion too. To help you follow your route, red dots and diamonds have been painted on the sidewalks by the Marshall Rotary Club.

ORANGE DOTS CAPITOL HILL WALK This short 0.35 mile walk tells the story of how Marshall almost became Michigan's capital, which also explains why we have a Governor's Mansion museum. This walk also features the Capitol Hill School and the Calhoun County Fairgrounds.

MARSHALL STORIES TOUR Take a short walk around just a couple of blocks and discover stories about the founding of Marshall and its role in education, the Underground Railroad, and more.

MARSHALL HISTORIC MARKERS TOUR Marshall has 60 Michigan Historical Markers, plaques and memorials scattered around town. Click here to read more about them and watch short videos produced by the Marshall Historical Society about the subjects of many markers.

CIRCLE TOUR As you rotate around the fountain circle in the heart of town you will see many historic sites, learn their stories here.

MARSHALL RIVERWALK The 1.6-mile Marshall Riverwalk consists of both elevated boardwalks, paved pathway and several historic points of interest.

OAKRIDGE CEMETERY Michigan's second-oldest operating cemetery. This 65-acre site contains the gravesites of many of Marshall's pioneers and founders.
